Service Description
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and First Aid at Work (FAW) are essential qualifications for work-based environments, including forestry. EFAW+F and FAW+F courses are available at First Aid Academy Ltd. To comply with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, workplaces must have a qualified first aider: EFAW for low-risk settings or FAW for higher-risk or larger offices. EFAW is a 6-hour, stand-alone course teaching life-saving techniques and represents day 1 of the 3-day FAW qualification. The FAW course continues with 12 additional hours, covering the management and treatment of injuries and illnesses. Both courses are suitable for individuals aged 16 and above, and can be complemented with our outdoor first aid training and paediatric first aid for those working in outdoor, educational, or childcare environments.
