You will be delighted to hear that today I was walking past a bus, which had just stopped, and the bus driver jumped out asking for someone to help him. I did it, it was terrifying, but I helped calm a lady down who was having an asthma attack. The bus driver had a lot of experience but just wanted back up. I just sat with her and kept her calm, stroked her arm while he got her pump out of her bag. He called for an ambulance because she was very shaky and old and it was all okay. However, I had so much adrenaline after I got the shakes.
Because of your training course, I was dead calm and just focused on the lady, it was after I went all shaky – Vicki
