This is the first newsletter from The First Aid Academy.

Formed from the success of first aid training by Cory Jones Associates. The First Aid Academy aims to provide a professional, innovative and friendly first aid training and supplies service to all its customers and clients.

There are open courses for individuals to book on, or organisations can book a course for their staff team. Courses are run nationwide.

Everyone is welcome to the official launch of First Aid Academy on Monday 13th October between 3-5pm at Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. Come along to see a presentation about the company and its courses, information on the legal requirements for businesses for first aid compliance and receive your discount card allowing your organisation 10% off all first aid training in 2008.

The Academy is a specialist organisation registered with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to deliver First Aid at Work courses (Approval Number 1670/96). The First Aid Academy also works with the Awarding Body ITC Ltd , to deliver nationally recognised Outdoor/Mountain First Aid courses and Sports First Aid.

Newsflash:sports sprains

Paediatric first aid courses are now  required by EYFS Statutory Framework and Ofsted for all primary schools, nurseries and early years providers (those dealing with the under eight's).

Our Paediatric course meets these EYFS and Ofsted requirements. The course focuses heavily on dealing with child and infant first aid. Essential for registered childminders and nannies under the Department for Children, Schools and Families Approved Carers Scheme, check out our course here.
