Changes to First Aid courses from October 2009
From October 2009 the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Qualification Curriculum Authority (QCA) will be working with registered First Aid training providers to deliver the new First Aid at Work courses for all businesses in the UK.
The traditional four day First Aid at Work (FAW) course will be changed to three days with an annual refresher day and the one day emergency first aid course will be renamed Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and have an annual refresher course.
