Leisure and Tourism Industry First AidIf you have a duty of care for tourists or the general public, whether in an aeroplane or coach, on a guided tour or at a charity event, at home or abroad, we have the course to suit your requirements. This 14 hour course covers essential life saving techniques, especially dealing with casualties safely, systematically and sympathetically in the first few minutes of the incident. Typically, tour representatives, children's club co-ordinators, pool lifeguards, sports coaches or team managers working with all ages of people in all activities take this award as a minimum standard of duty of care. It is also very popular with Trainees and assistants starting out on their career in leisure & travel.

First Aid Academy is approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as a recognised First Aid provider as part of their First Aid Approvals & Monitoring Section (FAAMS). Approval number 1670/96.

The Academy specialises in sport first aid in Cumbria (Carlisle, Barrow, Kendal, Keswick) and sport first aid courses throughout Lancashire and North Yorkshire.
