 First Aid Academy has just won 'Best New Business of the Year 2008 Award' at the
all new awards ceremony, organised by Bay Business Centre and
Lancashire Events Management, in
conjunction with Business Link, Rotary International and Lancaster
District Chamber of Commerce.
The awards are designed to recognise exceptional
achievements in 2008 by businesses and their employees in the City of Lancaster area.
The Academy is a specialist organisation approved to run Health and
Safety Executive (HSE) accredited First Aid training under approval centre number 2670/96, the same way Red Cross and St
Johns are approved. The First Aid Academy also works with the Awarding Body ITC First Aid Ltd, to deliver nationally recognised Outdoor/Mountain First Aid courses and Sports First Aid.

Our courses and supplies are competitively priced. The First Aid Academy works with ITC First Aid to certificate our courses. Certificates are valid for three years.
Our first aid supplies are of the highest quality, which is what you
require when you need to use them for real. Whats more, postage on our
first aid supplies is FREE!
 ITC First Aid is an Awarding Body with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and has been an approved registered with the HSE since the early 1990's. ITC certificates the First Aid Academy training courses and supports the rigorous monitoring of out trainers to enable us to work to the highest standards.
First Aid Academy works with the ITC trainer network to support the development of new first aid trainers, running the first aid trainers course.
Funding for Ministry of Defence staff
Both our Outdoor and Sports First Aid coursesare accessible for
funding for Ministry of Defence Personnel (Army, Air Force and Navy personnel)
through the Standard
