Basic food hygiene course available online through Verner Wheelock Associates (VWA)

 

First Aid Academy has partnered up with Verner Wheelock Associates (VWA) who are a leading provider of high quality, food industry training. VWA deliver Foundation (Level 2) food safety courses for food handlers who should have some form of food safety training to ensure that they know how to produce food that is safe to eat.

The content of this Foundation food safety course has been assessed by the RIPH and is aimed at anyone working in a role that involves contact with food, whether in catering, food retailing or food manufacture. The course can be used as Induction, Awareness, Refresher or Foundation training.

This animated online course will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete. However candidates can complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time.

The standard course is delivered in English, but please contact VWA for details of a Polish voiceover

Entry Requirements

None.  Basic computer skills will be needed. Use of a computer with sound/speakers is preferable.

This course covers the 2007 update to the UK Food Standards, including HACCP.

Assessment

On completion of the training, candidates sit an online test and those who pass will receive a certificate.
