About Us

First Aid Academy is a specialist organisation approved to run  Health and Safety Executive (HSE) accredited First Aid training under approval centre number 1670/96, in the same way approval is gained by British Red Cross and St Johns Ambulance. First Aid Academy also works with the Awarding Body ITC First Aid Ltd, to deliver nationally recognised Outdoor/Mountain First Aid courses and Sports First Aid.

Our courses and supplies are competitively priced. The First Aid Academy works with ITC First Aid to certificate our courses. Certificates are valid for three years.

/live/individual/logo-itc.gifITC First Aid is an Awarding Body with the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (OfQual) in England and Wales and Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) in Scotland. The Academy is an approved Provider for ITC First Aid, this allows The Academy to deliver a range of nationally accredited first aid courses. ITC (Immediate Temporary Care) has been approved and registered with the HSE since the early 1990's. ITC certificates the First Aid Academy training courses and supports the rigorous monitoring of our trainers to enable us to work to the highest standards.

ITC First Aid runs Emergency First Aid at Work, Activity First Aid and Paediatric First Aid from the Qualification Credit Framework, Emergency First Aid and Outdoor First Aid from the SQA Framework. 

First Aid Academy works with the ITC trainer network to support the development of new first aid trainers, running the first aid trainers course.
